Are all the Sapphires Natural?

All the Sapphires on this website are Natural Sapphires.

All the Australian Sapphires are mined on the Sapphire Gemfields, Qld by Michael and Jane Taylor. The Australian Sapphires in this Jewellery are selected AAA first grade gems with excellent colour and clarity. The gems are then faceted into beautiful gems by Jane Taylor.

In the Exotic Gems, all the Sapphires are Natural. The selected rough is AAA First Grade rated.

Is the Gold Jewellery, real gold?

All the gold is solid ie: not Gold Plated and all Jewellery is stamped.

We use 9ct (stamped 375), 14ct (stamped 585) and 18ct (stamped 750).

We use yellow gold, white gold and add rose gold features sometimes.

Where is the Jewellery Made?

The Gold Sapphire Jewellery is 100% made in Australia here in Queensland.

The design team consist of ourselves and three talented Jewellers to produce quality, creative and beautiful Australian Sapphire Jewellery.

How much does it cost for resizing rings?

The Gold Rings are resized free but conditions apply to available sizing. Please send a message.

Dress Rings – Engagement Rings?

Our Sapphire Rings are Dress Rings – we don’t specialise in Engagement Rings as you need to match a Wedding Band or Eternity Ring exactly to the Engagement Ring.

As our Rings are very individual – unique styles generally they are not suited to Engagement Rings.

Gift Buying: Is the Jewellery boxed when delivered?

All the jewellery comes in a Quality Jewellery Box. With a Jewellery Certificate.

You can purchase that Special Gift – have it gift wrapped with a personalised gift card from you – and posted to your choice of address.

The Shopping Process.

When you decide to buy something, simply click on ‘Add to cart‘.
While you continue shopping you can click on ‘View Cart‘ or ‘Checkout’ link at any time to view the contents of your shopping cart.

After we Express Post the parcel – we send you an email with tracking number through Australia Post. You can then see exactly when your parcel will be delivered.

About Online Payments.

We use Paypal as a fast easy to use secure payment system. You do not need a Paypal Account – you can use Paypal as a one-off payment with your card. Or you can pay by direct deposit but Jewellery will not be posted till funds have cleared.


Afterpay are payment methods available at www.rubyvalesapphires.com.au and in our shop in Rubyvale Qld. Afterpay  set the terms, conditions and spend limit of this payment method should you choose to use it. Our regular instore and online sales policies apply to these purchases. If you return your item(s) purchased online with Afterpay and are valid for a refund, your initial payment will be returned in full and the remaining payments cancelled at no extra charge. We Insure all parcels and send by Express Post – you will have to sign / show ID for the parcel. Approx 3-6 working days for delivery subject to Ring resizing and destination. If the Ring is to be resized we can generally do same day as purchase depending on time of purchase as well.

Our Guarantee.

Exchange or refund within 5 days of receipt of delivery if they are in PERFECT condition – this means the Jewellery item has not been worn (We photograph and video all our Jewellery before posting) –  and in original packaging.  This includes the Jewellery; Jewellery Certificate and any cleaning cloths, gifts or extras in the package. For Afterpay Refunds: The refund will be minus the Afterpay Fee as this is not refunded from Afterpay to us.  Unless the refund is due to an error made by Taylors Fine Sapphires then you will receive a Full refund.

Please note that we do not refund the cost of delivery  / return postage except if your return is the result of an error made by Taylors Fine Sapphires.
